I’ve just released this report which summarizes our survey of 17,000 Americans on their feelings of trust in corporations, brands and social media. Our survey was conducted through BrandAsset Valuator (BAV), our proprietary study of the world’s largest database of brands. The overview of the findings point to a renaissance in trust as a basic marketing principle and a driving factor in the rise and differentiation of several social media brands.
In our survey trust in brands has declined by over 50%, while trust as a driver of brand differentiation has risen by 35%. Also Twitter is the most trusted social media brand. Please feel free to circulate. Thanks
