Global Mom Relay: John Gerzema

John Gerzema's newest book, The Athena Doctrine: How Women (And The Men Who Think Like Them) Will Rule The Future, highlights the traits utilized by today's most innovative and progressive leaders. Using data from an exhaustive global survey, Gerzema observed that these traits can be classified as feminine and, although traditionally used more often by women, are available to both men and women. Join John and his daughter Nina, as they discuss how women and girls will be integral in creating a more peaceful, collaborative future. 

A future where feminine traits, including collaboration and vulnerability, are the operating system of the 21st century. John and Nina are part of the www.unfoundation.org/globalmomrelay, sharing stories and unlocking donations from Johnson & Johnson and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to benefit one of four initiatives that are helping women and children lead healthy and happy lives - Girl Up, the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA), and the Shot@Life campaign.
